Terms & Conditions – 247 Auto Locksmith

Welcome to 247 Auto Locksmith. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:


1. Services Provided

We offer mobile auto locksmith services, including the supply of car and van keys using genuine, OEM, and aftermarket components. Services are available 24/7 where possible.


2. Enquiries and Bookings

  • Enquiries can be made via telephone, email, or WhatsApp.

  • A booking form must be completed via our website to confirm your appointment.


3. Service Hours and Payments

  • No upfront payment is required between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

  • A 50% deposit is required for bookings outside of these hours.

  • All keys, remotes, and transponder chips remain the property of 247 Auto Locksmith until full payment has been received.

  • We accept all major debit and credit cards, as well as cash.

  • Special-order keys, which are built specifically to your vehicle, are non-refundable once ordered.


4. Cancellation and Call-Out Fees

  • No call-out fees are charged.

  • A £59 cancellation fee applies for same-day cancellations, including if the customer cancels while we are en route.

  • If we arrive and begin any work (including diagnostics), a £99 charge will apply.


5. Warranties

  • All keys supplied come with a 6-month parts and labour warranty.

  • The warranty excludes:

    • Physical damage

    • Water damage

    • Tampering or disassembly by the customer

    • Battery-related issues


6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must provide accurate vehicle information and be present at the time and location of service.

  • Proof of vehicle ownership or legal authorisation is required before any service can be carried out.


7. Limitations of Service

  • Service availability may be affected by location, weather, or vehicle make/model.

  • We reserve the right to decline service where legal or safety requirements cannot be met.


8. Liability and Disclaimers

  • We are not responsible for delays or service disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control.

  • Once delivered, customers are responsible for safeguarding keys. We are not liable for lost or misused keys.

  • Wrongful chargebacks (disputing a payment without valid reason) will result in legal action. An administration fee of £199 will be applied to cover recovery and processing costs.


9. Data Protection

  • We collect only the personal data required to provide our services (e.g. contact and vehicle details).

  • All customer data is deleted after use and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.


10. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and logos on our website are the property of 247 Auto Locksmith and may not be used or reproduced without our written permission.


11. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be handled through the civil court system.


12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be published on our website.


13. Vehicle Damage Disclaimer

While every effort is made to avoid damage, some services (e.g. emergency lockouts, key extraction) may involve procedures that carry a risk of cosmetic or structural damage. 247 Auto Locksmith accepts no liability for such damage unless caused by proven negligence.


14. Used or Customer-Supplied Keys

We do not guarantee the functionality or compatibility of used or customer-supplied keys. Programming or cutting of these keys is undertaken entirely at the customer’s risk. Full service charges apply regardless of the outcome.


15. Missed Appointments

If a customer is not present at the agreed location within 15 minutes of the scheduled time and is unreachable, the booking will be treated as a missed appointment. A £59 fee will apply, and a new appointment may be required.


16. Non-Functional Vehicle Modules or Faults

If programming cannot be completed due to faults in the vehicle (e.g. immobiliser, ECU, wiring, or battery issues), full charges still apply for the time and attempted service.


17. Contact and Communication Consent

By using our service, you consent to being contacted via phone, SMS, email, or WhatsApp for the purposes of handling your booking and providing service updates.
