TERMS & CONDITIONS – 247 AUTO LOCKSMITH

Welcome to 247 Auto Locksmith. By booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.


1. Services Provided

247 Auto Locksmith provides mobile vehicle locksmith and ignition-related services, including but not limited to:

  • Vehicle entry and lockout assistance

  • Vehicle key cutting and programming

  • Ignition barrel repair and replacement

  • Steering lock and security system-related work

  • Vehicle security and immobiliser programming

We may use genuine, OEM, or high-quality aftermarket components where appropriate.

Service availability is 24/7, where operationally possible.


2. Enquiries and Bookings

Bookings may be made via telephone, email, website form, or messaging platforms, including WhatsApp.

A booking is considered confirmed once agreed between both parties.

Customers must provide accurate vehicle and fault information at time of booking.


3. Service Hours and Payment Terms

No upfront payment is normally required between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

A 50% deposit may be required for bookings outside of these hours or for special order parts.

All supplied keys, remotes, and components remain the property of 247 Auto Locksmith until paid in full.

We accept major debit cards, credit cards, and cash.

Special order or vehicle-specific parts are non-refundable once ordered.


4. Call-Out, Attendance and Cancellation Fees

No standard call-out fee is charged.

£59 cancellation fee applies for same-day cancellations or if cancelled while we are en route.

If we arrive and begin work, including diagnostics, a minimum £99 attendance charge applies.


5. Diagnostic Time Charges

Diagnostic time, labour, travel, and tool use are chargeable regardless of repair outcome.

Attempted programming or diagnostic work is chargeable even if vehicle faults prevent completion.


6. Undisclosed Previous Work, Damage or Misrepresentation

Customers must disclose previous repair attempts, damage, or modifications.

If undisclosed faults, damage, or previous repair attempts are discovered:

  • The original quote becomes void

  • A revised quote will be provided

  • If the revised quote is declined, attendance and cancellation charges still apply

We reserve the right to refuse or stop work where safety or reliability is compromised.


7. Vehicle Power, No Key or Unknown Condition Vehicles

If we attend a vehicle that has:

  • No battery power

  • Flat or unstable electrical supply

  • No working key available

  • Unknown electronic or module condition

We cannot guarantee vehicle operation after work is completed.

All work performed and time spent remains fully chargeable regardless of final vehicle status.


8. Vehicle Electrical System & Pre-Existing Faults

We are not responsible for faults caused by:

  • Pre-existing electrical issues

  • Weak or failing batteries

  • Faulty ECUs, BCMs, wiring, or modules

  • Water damage or corrosion

  • Previous incorrect repairs

Modern vehicle electronics can fail independently during diagnostics or programming.


9. Battery Health Requirement

Vehicles must have a stable battery supply for programming and electronic work.

If programming fails due to battery or voltage issues, full charges still apply.


10. Seized, Corroded or Aged Components

Older or worn vehicle components may break during removal or repair due to their condition.

We are not liable for breakage caused by age, corrosion, or prior wear unless proven negligent.


11. Modified or Non-Factory Vehicle Systems

We are not responsible for issues caused by:

  • Aftermarket alarms

  • Aftermarket immobilisers

  • Remote start systems

  • Non-standard wiring

  • ECU remapping or modifications


12. Customer Supplied or Used Parts

Customer-supplied or used keys, locks, or components are fitted or programmed at customer risk.

Functionality cannot be guaranteed.

Full labour and service charges still apply.


13. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide correct vehicle details

  • Be present or contactable

  • Provide proof of ownership or authority


14. Missed Appointments

If the customer is unavailable after 15 minutes and unreachable, the booking is treated as missed.

£59 missed appointment fee applies.


15. Parking, Access and Delay Conditions

Delays caused by restricted access, parking, permits, or site entry may result in additional waiting charges.


16. Warranties

Supplied keys include 6-month parts and labour warranty, excluding:

  • Physical damage

  • Water damage

  • Tampering

  • Battery issues


17. Vehicle History and Theft Checks

We reserve the right to perform HPI or similar vehicle checks.

If a vehicle is identified as stolen or cloned, we will report details to the police.

No refunds apply for time spent before discovery.


18. Chargebacks and Debt Recovery

Unjustified chargebacks will result in legal recovery action.

£199 administration fee applies plus recovery, legal and interest costs where applicable.


19. Liability

We are not responsible for delays outside our control.

Customers are responsible for keys once delivered.


20. Data Protection

Customer data is collected only for service delivery and is not shared without consent unless legally required.


21. Intellectual Property

All branding and content belong to 247 Auto Locksmith.


22. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
